The TV news/talk shows ask: Is the President guilty of obstruction of justice?

Yes.

However, the intellectual midget in the Oval Office will never comprehend why people are upset. He will never understand that the Feds are constrained by the rule of law. Of course, over the centuries many Feds have gotten around the rule of law, to oppress voters, African-Americans, political dissent. Local governments, too.

PseudoPrez grew up being taught that laws are for other people.

Yes. Other people who think the Constitution should apply fairly to everybody.

Homer Simpson and DJTrump exist in neighboring colors.

A rainbow splits the spectrum into red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Subtract red and you have PseudoPrez. Subtract orange and you have Homer the Everyman.

Mirror-image personalities, though. But Homer's on top in intellect.

And, yeah, DJT's bleaching out toward normal. Doesn't the White House have a tanning booth? Doesn't his hairdresser/barber make house calls?

Breaking the cycle

 

Hey, U.K., swing your cricket bat at this:

 Make every unemployed young man in the country show up for 40 hours a week, or whatever the standard work week is.

Anywhere but a pub or a church-synagogue-mosque.

Pile on a mid-day meal. Make them play chess, or sports.

Science demonstrations, travelogues …

No talk of politics, religion or whatever else gets their blood up. Distract the home-born blokes from talking about sex.

Get everybody away from the Internet, away from the poisonous old men who see them as cannon fodder for their supreme being. And from the poisonous young men.

No women invited, of course, bowing to cultural perversion.

This takes commitment, planning, and money. The goal is to extend their concept of “us vs. them” to include people who were not originally “us.”

Simplistic, yes. Attainable, no.

Since I'm always toddling along behind, I can't be the first, or the thirty-first, to suggest something like this.

The past's sting

Again in London. Appalling.

There's no way out of the cycle without a country turning into a prison camp.

The English led the way as Europe subdivided Africa in the late 1890s-early 1900s and that racist, greedy deed spawned stunning payback.

Didn't help that most of modern Europe took in refugees and immigrants and shoved them into what became ghettos. No jobs, no self-respect, no marriage; nothing of the civilizing effects.

Even if most of them hadn't been taught that violence leads straight to heaven, all that testosterone has to explode. Inexorable.

They can't get enough children in Sunday School.

Captive audience in public school.

Professional teachers.
