Inversion of justice

I'm hosting a funeral for the premier concept of justice in the USA.

"Innocent until proven guilty" is dead. Murdered. Slaughtered like a lamb.

Summarily firing men over sexual harassment claims killed it.

Not that they don't deserve firing, or worse. I'm thinking about a return to stocks on courthouse steps, accompanied by a basket of rotten fruit.

Or, somebody follows them around ringing a bell while chanting "shame, shame shame." No nudity, please.

But, driving the accused into an American Gulag is un-American.

It's come to this

I subscribe digitally to the Washington Post. Lately, when I sign in, I get one of those "prove you're not a robot" screens, demanding I click on all photos that contain ... cars, street signs, and so on.

Trump lovers are trying to sabotage WaPo ... does that include a digital attack?

USPS invites me to sign up for "Informed Delivery."

It will send me daily emails showing, says the pitch, "detailed images of the letter-sized mail that will be arriving soon to your PO Box."

Well.

No, thanks.

Most letter-sized mail I get these days is junk. Charity begging letters, donate to our good cause begging letters. You get the picture.

I won't, USPS. Keep your detailed images out of my PO Box.
